Girls Beginner - Spring 2025
The objectives of our Girls' Beginner program is centered around growing the fundamentals of hockey. It’s important for beginner players to become comfortable on the ice, learn the basic hockey stance, stride, knee bend, use of edges and how to hold a stick before moving into a higher level of hockey. We are excited to host a girls' only environment to learn in and take this next step in continuing to grow the girls' game in our area. Jerry Weir will be the head coach of this program.

Breakaway Hockey Co is located at Olympic View Arena and has all the items needed to get your player ready for their 1st on-ice session.
Pricing
- $100 per session
- $165 for 2 beginner sessions
- $200 for 3 or 4 beginner sessions

- Monday - Friday 3pm - 9pm
- Saturday 8am - 5pm
- Sunday 10am - 6pm

What if I, as a parent, don't know anything about hockey?
You don’t need to know anything! (Except to dress warm for the rinks.) Our hockey community welcomes new parents all the time with open arms. You’ll have the opportunity to make new friends in the stands and learn more about the sport. Seattle Junior will also provide you with newsletters, parent meetings, and more to keep you in the loop about hockey happenings.
