The PCAHA Female Hockey Committee is excited to announce the Pacific Coast Elite Hockey League (PCEHL) for the 2025 – 2026 season. You can see the Instagram post here.

PCAHA, in collaboration with minor hockey associations, is thrilled to provide competitive U13 and U15 athletes with a high-performance hockey experience to grow and develop within a sanctioned hockey environment. The zone teams in Canada have been formalized with Surrey, Tri-Cities, Richmond, Northern Zone, and Washington. You can view this information on the Elite website.

The Program Mandate:

• Provide opportunities for high-performance female hockey players.
• Foster growth and development of female hockey, allowing players to remain within USA Hockey, Hockey Canada and BC Hockey-sanctioned programming.
• Provide a pathway of excellence for players seeking to play U18 AAA, collegiate hockey, or to maximize their potential.
• Provide female athletes with a positive environment and engaging experience.

• Strength + Conditioning Program
• We have partnered with Dr. Kelsey Crispeno Garvey, owner of Train Seattle, who will provide our strength and conditioning program for Elite teams this season. She, along with her team, will train our athletes at the gym at Olympic View Arena.

• 1x a month, virtually
• Hudl video breakdowns and profiles for each player
• Video review 1x a week as a team
• Permanent locker room for U15 team at Lynnwood Ice Center

What if I'm unable to make the tryouts?

If you are unable to attend tryouts, you must contact Girls Hockey Director Annie Smyth-Hammond (a.smyth-hammond@sjha.com) and notify her of your inability to attend. At the Director's discretion, you may be granted a secondary tryout. If granted, you will need to register for the tryout and pay in full.

When will I know if I selected for the team?

At the completion of tryouts you will be notified as to your status on the Seattle Red Hawk teams. Should you be offered a spot, please be prepared to accept your position by way of a deposit in the amount of $350.00.

If I don't make the Zone team, can I still tryout for the Rep team? Will I need to register and pay for another tryout?

Yes. You will be able to tryout for the U13 or U15 rep team if you do not make the Zone team. You will need to register for the Rep tryouts and will be provided a discount code for a reduced tryout fee.
