U15A1 & U18A1 Seattle Red Hawks Headed to USA Hockey Tier II National Championship!

A HUGE CONGRATULATIONS to the U15A1 and U18A1 Seattle Red Hawks teams for an incredible showing at the Pacific District Championships, each earning a spot to represent the 14U and 19U at the Tier II USA Hockey National Championships!

The U18A1 team had a thrilling 1-0 victory over the Alaska All-Stars in the District Championship game, winning Gold, bringing home the 19U Tier II District Championship banner, and a ticket to the National Championship! The U15A1 team had a tough battle with Hockey Club Fairbanks in the Championship game, but came up short 2-1, winning Silver, and a ticket to the National Championship.

It was incredible to watch these two teams play all weekend. The teams went a combined 9 and 1 with 31 GF and 8 GA and 324 SOG. Both teams were a force to be reckoned with on the ice and brought the fight to every team they played.

This is only the second year for the Seattle Red Hawks and to have achieved so much in so little time is a testament to the leadership of the organization and the hard work these girls have put in to show what can be accomplished when you come together as one team with one vision.

Next stop, Cleveland and Coral Springs!
